CRS Welcome Note

Dear Colleagues,

We cordially invite you to attend the CRS Local Chapter Meeting Germany/Switzerland/Austria (DeChAt) on February 13 and 14, 2025 in Bern, Switzerland. We expect emerging and cutting-edge speakers from academia and spinoffs as well as poster presentations focusing on the research of young up-and-coming scientists. Take this opportunity to network, make friends among your peers, and start new collaborations. The fun won’t be coming shortly! The congress is held at the Auditorium Ettore Rossi in the University Hospital Inselspital in Bern, and, after the fruitful exchange of our ideas and new research insights, we will enjoy a dinner together on the river Aare.

Programm

The meeting will start on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at 12 p.m. CET with Registration and Finger Food and at about 1 p.m. with the scientific part of the meeting, which is expected to end at about 6:30 p.m. At about 7:30 p.m. there will be a dinner on the river Aare at the Schwellenmätteli Restaurant, Dalmaziquai 11.

The second day, Friday February 14th, will start at about 8:30 a.m. with the General Meeting of the CRS Local Chapter Germany and at 9:30 a.m. with the scientific part of the meeting, which is expected to conclude at around 1 p.m.

Poster Preparation

Poster presentations for the conference must adhere to the mandatory format of A0 size in portrait orientation. Materials for mounting the posters will be provided on-site.

Workshop

We also offer a pre-meeting Workshop as an introduction to Lean and Six Sigma (LSS) principles for process improvements. This workshop is facilitated with kind support from IPPD (https://ippd.eu/) and the Galenus Foundation (https://www.galenusprivatstiftung.at/).

The number of seats is limited to 20 players. Attendees of the CRS meeting will get priority and seats will be assigned on a first come first serve basis. Better register soon!
